How Fastplay builds your tune-up
And why generic tweak lists fall short.
Fastplay team · Updated
Short answer: Fastplay starts with a free scan of your hardware, Windows version and game, finds where your PC is likely held back, and builds a Windows settings profile for that exact setup. It comes from years of R&D by a team working on gaming regedit optimization since 2015, is tested across hardware, retested after major Windows releases, and includes lifetime updates. Results vary by hardware, and we never promise FPS numbers.
The problem with one-size tweak lists
Generic tweak lists treat every PC the same. A change that helps a network-limited laptop can do nothing, or hurt, on a CPU-limited desktop. Many lists are also years old and were never checked against current Windows versions. That is why people apply them and feel no difference.
Step 1: the scan
The free scan collects your CPU, GPU, RAM, network details, Windows version and main game. That is not a formality. Your answers decide which modules are recommended, and your Windows version, SSD, CPU core count and game shape the build itself.
Step 2: finding the bottleneck
Before choosing anything, Fastplay looks at where your setup is most likely limited: CPU, GPU or network. The build follows that, instead of throwing every change at every PC.
Step 3: built from your scan
Your build follows your scan: the modules you pick, your Windows version, whether Windows is on an SSD, your CPU core count and your game. Two PCs rarely get the same build. See what each module does. We don't publish the internals; that work is what you pay for.
Step 4: years of research and testing
This is advanced, detailed optimization, refined over years. Not a couple of popular keys. Modules are tested across hardware, and major Windows releases get retested so builds stay current. It is not something you could rebuild by copying a few popular settings.
Step 5: safety and updates
- Windows settings only. Never game files, never anti-cheat.
- A plain file you can check before applying. No installer, no background app.
- We recommend creating a Windows restore point before applying, so you always have a way back. Here's how.
- Lifetime updates: if a Windows or game update changes things, reply to your delivery email for an updated build, free.
Do the basics too
Keep GPU drivers current, turn on Windows Game Mode and close apps you don't need. Fastplay starts where those basics stop.
Who benefits most
Competitive players who feel stutter, uneven frame pacing or input delay, where Windows is part of the problem, on any PC from older quad cores to new high end rigs. On some high end PCs the difference is small. Results vary by hardware.
FAQ
Is Fastplay different from free tweak lists?
Yes. Builds are made from your scan (Windows version, SSD, CPU cores, game) and the modules you pick, from years of R&D and testing.
Will it raise my FPS?
We do not promise FPS gains. It is built to reduce input delay and stutter.
Does it touch game files?
No. Windows settings only.
What if Windows updates?
Reply to your delivery email for a free updated build.
